Stockmar Stick Beeswax Crayons are simply wonderful to work with. They are rich in pigment and color easily.

Made of beeswax, these crayons smell nice and are non-toxic, should a youngster take a bite. Best of all they last a long time.

Stick crayons help small children learn the proper grip for writing later on. Paired with a Lyra crayon sharpener you can easily maintain a just-like-new point for most of the crayons' life span.

Recommended in Waldorf classrooms for young children to promote colouring with wild abandon and developing the "will".

These are lovely

We already had a small set of Stockman Block Crayons, and plenty of other crayons, so just picked out some special Stockmar Stick Crayons. Of course we had to get the Gold and Silver. They are so shimmery and beautiful! The Gold in particular inspired several pictures in gold when we got it home, and has remained a favourite. These crayons are lovely to draw with, really smooth and really nice colour. The gold and silver look especially fantastic on dark or colourful paper. They are a good size, nice for child and adult hands to hold, and strong and sturdy. We will continue to slowly add to our collection with more of these in favourite and most-used colours. I'm also noticing that some of the available colours are rather unique shades and not already in our collection so there are many on the list for next time.
